Rolfing Massage Therapy
Rolfing is designed to restore flexibility and
mobility by releasing tension in both the muscular system and
connective tissues that intertwine and form a web throughout
the body. Rolfers will use their hands, forearms and elbows to
stretch the connective tissues with deep pressure. Oil is not
used during this therapy, in order to achieve the full benefits
of friction. Rolfing achieves great results for those who
experience chronic pain. This massage is done is a series of 10
sessions over the period of 10 - 20 weeks. Your therapist will
best assess whether you would be best served with 60 or
90-minute appointments.
